Fix Arthemia Error 404 Not Found on Next Page

Often by default arthemia will throw a 404 error when you click next page (from the main page). Most of the time this happens only when you get to the last page of posts that should exist.

Here is how you fix it:

  • Go into you WordPress backend/dashboard
  • Go to Appearance -> Editor
  • Hit Main Index Template (on the right side)
  • Find the section where it says:   query_posts("cat=
  • The end of this line will have something like “posts_per_page=5”
  • Remember your number of posts per page
  • Hit the settings button on the left and go into the Reading section
  • Set “Blog pages show at most” to that number that you just found (5, in my case)

  • thanks! I just love how i can google 'arthemia next page 404' and get the solution on your blog in 1 click.
Since you're great with Arthemia, can you help me with this: I've put a picture in a text-widget, wich appears perfectly on the homepage. But when i click next page or any other page, the picture turns into a red cross. I can't figure out what the problem is.
    Thanks again!

    • Haha we're glad it was so easy to find!
We use this widget called Image Widget (its by Shane and Peter, Inc) Just search for it in plugins - it will probably work better
